Approche sociologique des relations interethniques en milieu urbain
This article presents an analysis of Cleansing condition allophobia, a mixture of fear and aggression towards foreigners in urban France.The coexistence of populations from different cultures in the same urban space is regularly mentioned in the media, and debates raise questions of national identity, immigration and insecurity.This article takes a diachronic look at the Modern Art designation of the foreigner, and at the notions of mobility and sedentariness, to put the space/time relationship into perspective and address questions of identity and otherness.
